      We had to visit this hospital with our kid while on holidays. Going as a foreigner to a hospital is always stressful. But the experience in Hospiten was great. We did not wait and the doctor was really nice and helped us. Also she spoke perfect english. I noticed very bad reviews for this hospital but in our case we did not encounter any problems.

      Very rude, unhelpful reception staff. Terrible communication and a BIG timewaster! Today we had an appointment for 10:45 to vaccinate our 2 children. From past experience with Hospiten we decided to call first to make sure they had supply of the vaccine. The phone call took 40 minutes (10 of which just on hold waiting for them to answer). When we finally got through, a further 30 minutes before they finally confirmed they had stock of the vaccine. We turned up 15 minutes early (mistake!) but we were not seen by the doctor until 11:40. I would like to stress at this point that we are entirely happy with the doctor, whom was just as frustrated as us with the way the hospital is being run. The icing on the cake for this little story is that when the doctor called the nurse to organise the vaccine ... it turned out they DID NOT have any stock! What a waste of time. We ended up having to drive to a local pharmacy to buy the vaccine, go back to the Hospital where the doctor (thankfully) persuaded the nurse to give the vaccine (the hospital has a policy that they only vaccinate if the vaccine is purchased through them). All in all, this hospital SERIOUSLY needs to re-evaluate how they speak to and treat their paying customers. They also need to get better organised and not provide false information like they did to me this morning.

      over the past 2 years visiting this hospiten estepona has become unbearable. long check in whichakes you late for your appointment. long waits to even get an appointment with your preferred doctor and really bad telephone service, 20 minutes plus on hold for someone to answer. I will not be back

      I accompanied an elderly neighbour with a broken a shoulder to Hospiten late in the evening. The staff was inconsiderate and the care was dreadful. Having spent two nights at Hospiten the neighbour said that a stay in prison on bread and water could not have been much worse.
