Lovely beach but beware waves. Sand is quite coarse but it is a very long beach and parking is not an issue so you should be able to find your own quiet stretch of sand. Not recommended for swimming because of the waves. Surfing might be ok

Cool views, worth visiting. Not much to do there expect from taking pictures.

It's better to have a car to get here. There's no bus from the beach. We once walked and hitchhiked but you have to be lucky to be picked up!

We didn’t know what to expect and were blown away by the vast stretch of open coastline, seemingly untouched by the tourism that usually takes over at beaches. Some of the roads along the coastline (past the lighthouse) are in much worse shape than others; if you want to drive those areas comfortably, take something rugged. We watched sunset close to the lighthouse and stopped back in Cabo de Gato for caña+tapas - a perfect day.
