DR. FERNANDO ROMERO

Dr. Romero has been my doctor for more than 10 years, and i wont go to anyone else. He is the most knowledgeable doctor, and experienced.

I've been going here since I was a small child. Dr. Romero is a great doctor, very personable and a really smart guy. His wife Lorraine does the contact lense appointments and she's one of the friendliest people I've ever met. She makes going to the doctor enjoyable- if you can believe that! I definitely would recommend Dr. Romero to anyone looking for an opthamologist.

Just called to make an appt stating my 3 year old son has been complaining of pain in his eyes for a few months. Receptionists response is, “first off, before we go any further. Dr. Romero is not a pediatric optometrist. An optometrist can not diagnose and treat your sons problems....yada yada yada yada”. What is this? Career guidance? I’m calling as a concerned parent. Have some sympathy and focus on the patient, not my wrong choice of word for the doctors title. I just hung up annoyed. Obviously do not need a personality like that taking care of my child

I wish I had the option for a negative star review. This doctor is terrible. Made me feel like I was a worthless patient and that I had no prior knowledge of my eye issues or my genetics. When I have documentations for all. He even sent a note" as he says to my prior doctor"telling her she didn't have any idea what she was talking about and lied about the issues that I in fact do have. Sad

A little sad about my visit. This place is my regular eye doctor. But today my experience was a little different. Had my wisdom teeth removed a week ago, but since then I've had a lot of pain and redness in my eyes. Got 8:30 am to my 8:30 appt. doctor didn't see me until 9:20, even though I was told I was the first patient for the day. ( where was the doctor then?) All in all, doctor examined me for 1 minute and I'm out $50 copay for specialist.
